Position: Sr. Cognos Developer.

Location: Teaneck NJ (Local or nearby commutable consultant)

Duration: 6 months+

 

Sr. Cognos Developer.

This role will be responsible for design and implementation of IBM Cognos BI based reporting service. This includes defining reporting approaches, best practices, system design, tuning, and performance, and also data cube loading, security and maintenance.

 

Qualifications

• 5-8+ Years - Extensive Experience with Cognos Implementations including Framework Manager, Report Studio

• 5-7+ Years - Strong experience with SQL Server/Oracle

• 5-7+ Years - Experience with report design and testing

• 5-7+ Years - Experience with relational database management and reporting

• 5-7+ Years - Extensive Experience with SQL

• 5-7+ Years - Experience with Star or Snowflake schemas

• Knowledge of full project lifecycle; ability to communicate requirements to clients and developers

• Experience with analyzing business MIS requirements

• JDE Knowledge is plus

• EBS Knowledge is plus

• TM1 Knowledge is plus
