Responsibilities: 

Resources will be responsible for M-F business hour's support & maintenance work.  The resources will also participate in the Public Cloud Framework On call Rotation, this will require after hours support.  These resources will provide application support and be available for after-hours maintenance activities.  These resources will test automation changes in the Public Cloud Environment.  These resources will be responsible for patching our applications during the standard 90 day cycle and for emergency security patches.  These resources will be responsible for monitoring the team issue queue for any support tickets or questions.  These resources will identify repeatable Issues and identify root cause when necessary.

 
Qualifications:

·         Experience with software design methodologies, information systems architecture, object oriented design, and software design patterns

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Experience in Amazon AWS

·         Experience with  Agile software design methodologies, information systems architecture, object oriented design, and software design patterns

·         Experience at Shell & Python scripting.

·         Ability to quickly triage problems, determine root cause and drive resolution

 

Preferred:

·         Knowledge of Puppet

·         Familiarity with Tomcat, Splunk, and GitHub

·         Familiarity with large scale systems and methodologies
