Primary skills: experience with Java 7, JBoss 7, writing CXF/soap based web services and working with either SQL server or oracle.

Location: Virginia Beach VA.

Preferred Employment: W2 only.

Looking for H1B Transfers, TN Visa, OPT, L2 & GC –EAD's

  

1. 5 years of Java 6 or 7 development experience on JBoss (4.3 or later) (including generics, annotations, collections, interfaces) 2. 3 years of Eclipse experience 3. 3 years experience writing (not consuming) web services in Java using Axis or CXF
Job Description:		Primary Duties • Writing new web services, and modifying existing ones, for use by SharePoint and/or Drupal client code for business rules enforcement and data access • Writing new SQL, and enhancing existing SQL, to fetch and store data in MS-SQL and Oracle databases, to be used in the aforementioned web services • Planning and executing code deployments and configuration changes to JBoss servers • Occasional weekend and after-hours work Required Skills • Java (JDK 6 or later) on JBoss (4.3 or later). Includes expertise and experience with generics, annotations, collections, interfaces. • Eclipse expertise • Writing (not consuming) web services in Java using either Axis or CXF • Writing SQL against MSSQL and Oracle • JUnit • Ant • Ability to work with pre-existing code Helpful Skills • Continuous Integration (Hudson, Jenkins, CruiseControl) • Design Patterns (DAO, DTO, Façade, Bridge, Singleton) • SOAP UI • Code analysis tools (PMD, CheckStyle, FindBugs, Cobertura, Emma, Clover)
Additional Information:		Nice-to-have skills: Apache CXF or Axis 2, Continuous Integration (e.g., Hudson), Design Patterns (DAO, DTO, Façade, Bridge, Singleton), Application Servers other than JBoss
