Location: Washington DC

Job Description:

The client is in the process of upgrading the Hyperion Planning Application from version 11.1.1.1 to version 11.1.2.3 and also moving from the current installation in AIX servers to x86 Linux servers. Hyperion consultant will be primarily responsible for the following:

·         Migrating the current forms, reports and the existing plan data from the current installation to new installation

·         Develop new procedures where required to meet the current requirements/data flows between the financial system and the Hyperion planning application.

 

Skills/Experience:

·         8+years of experience with Hyperion Planning application

·         Ability to develop forms and reports in the Hyperion planning application

·         Must have performed Hyperion Planning Application upgrades

·         Must have experience migrating plan data from one instance to another

·         Must have experiencing working on Essbase module and migrating data from one instance to another

·         Must have experience with Oracle Data Integrator to integrate data transfers between Hyperion Planning application with external database

·         Must have ETL experience with Esscmd, MaxL, and EAS

·         Good working knowledge of SQL and batch loading procedures is preferred

• Ability to create/modify, test and promote business rules/calc scripts in Planning/Essbase to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to create/modify, test and promote Planning/Essbase reports/scripts/data forms to meet the needs of the business
• Ability to setup and maintain user access that includes creating and provisioning of user groups, filters and security profiles in alignment with the needs of the business

·         Ability to work with the budgeting team to understand business requirement and translate them into system requirements

• Manage migrations and promotion of all changes and upgrades to Planning/Essbase and ensure compliance with change management policies

·         Strong accounting and financial experience is preferred

·         Previous work experience in federal government and understanding of federal accounting is preferred
