Location:                 Detriot Area (Dearborn, Royal Oak, and Troy )

Rate:                       45 $ Must be all inclusive

Length:                   6-12 months w/ option for extension

 

 

Overview:

A Business Systems Analyst works alongside business customers and other delivery practices (Governance, Architecture and Development, and Quality Management) to ensure that software system functions are aligned with organizational needs.  The Business Systems Analyst will elicit business requirements and analyze existing business processes and their alignment with current systems or proposed solutions. In addition, the Analyst will model proposed software specifications and perform requirement / artifact traceability.

Requirements:

1. Must have 3-5 yrs of BA in HEALTHCARE IT  experience acting as liaison for the integration and communication among applications, databases, and technology platforms on a business and technological level including:
• Must have Epic Willow and/or McKesson software implementations experience
   
• Conduct business process analyses and business needs/requirements elicitation in an effort to align information technology with business initiatives.
• Perform analysis on existing systems; identify options for potential solutions and assess for both technical and business suitability.
• Understand organizational motivations: problems, goals, and objectives.  Assess and document the benefits, risks, and critical success factors of the project. Ensure / demonstrate that business needs are satisfied within a given technical solution.
• Participate in developing functional and non-functional requirements, testing, training, and implementing applications into production environments that support the business unit.
• Leverage CASE tools or templates to create elicitation, analysis, specification, validation artifacts.
2. Must have Epic Willow and/or McKesson software implementations experience
3. Working knowledge of UML use case, class, activity models, sequence diagrams, prototypes and how they interrelate
4. Working knowledge of business rule taxonomy and elicitation techniques.
5. Basic knowledge of UML component models and deployment models.
6. Working knowledge of RUP Design phase, SSO concepts
7. Expert knowledge of Blueprint, Visio, and other CASE tools
8. Ability to facilitate RRD workshops
