Role Overview:  Candidate will be joining the team in a front-end leadership role, together the team will produce apps, sites and pages for Marriott. Leadership experience is a must. Must be comfortable with react framework and have experience with CSS creation, building, and troubleshooting. AEM and Node experience is a plus.

 

Project specific Responsibilities:
Experience:

· Four years of experience or ten projects as a Sr. Front-end Web Developer
· AEM Experience – NICE TO HAVE, not a MUST Development
· Knowledge of HTML5 and Advanced CSS features such as Grid CSS
· CSS: Bootstrap and any other frameworks
· Any Preprocessors
· Responsive Web Design and Development (includes device debugging)
· Accessibility: WCAG 2.0 AA and AAA. Section 508.
· Standard JavaScript
· At least one framework to create Single Page Applications: React or Node.js
· Component-based development and integration
· Performance driven development
· Performance optimization and debugging
· Create logic-less templates using Front-end Template Engines
· Review front-end code produced by other teams /members
· Run reviews to guarantee the structure and design of the applications follow the standards and guidelines
· Identify and remove vulnerabilities from the application Tooling / Workflow
· Working knowledge of Git platforms - GitHub
· Gulp and Webpack: configuration and running custom tasks
· npm and yarn: configuration.
· Package management: npm, yarn
· Testing: unit testing, e2e testing, integration testing
· Any Accessibility tools
