Location: Currently remote but eventually must be at client site (Washington DC). Either local to DC or open to travel. 

Interview Process: One internal interview, possibly 2. No client.

 

Client is looking for a Java Developer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You'll use your problem-solving creativity to design, architect, and develop high-end technology solutions that solve our clients' most complex and challenging problems across different industries. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.

 

Education/Skills:

 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

8 Years of strong software development experience in software development with expertise in Java 8 and above

Recent experience in Architect-related roles

Play/Akka or Springboot based Microservices

Core Java skills

SRE skills (managing SLOs/SLIs including but not limited to Performance Engineering, Caching solutions, etc.)

Strong experience in writing high quality code with full automated unit test coverage

Strong experience in defining and applying design standards, patterns, quality matrix depending on the solutions

DevOps knowledge, cloud experience, knowledge of front-end technologies

 

Must Haves:

 

Must be able to interface with client and have solid communication skills

Must have experience client-facing

Must have experience working with offshore teams
