Project Overview:  Digital Site Maintenance

 

Front-end Developer Role Overview:

 

1. Front-end development as per the responsive design for three viewports – Mobile, Desktop and Tablet using the tech stack: HTML5, CSS3/CSS Pre-processors (SASS/LESS), OOJS, ES6, Jquery, SASS/Less, Bootstrap, Handlebars, Webpack

2. AEM Component Creation by re-using AEM core components and customization.

3. Knowledge on AEM sightly language.

4. AEM Template creation and integration of the required components for the identified templates

5. Static and Dynamic components includes forms

6. Integrate the Adobe Experience Manager Solution with the systems defined in the integration architecture

7. Automation of front-end development using Grunt and Webpack tasks

 

Skills Required: 

          

Candidate should be comfortable to handle the code from front-end perspective (as per the tech stack mentioned in Required Skills section). Also, candidate should be comfortable with integrating the code with backend (AEM in this case).  Should have fair understanding of responsive design, best practices with front end development (Code optimization, Performance tuning, Accessibility etc.) and multilingual sites.

 

Must Have:

 

HTML5, CSS3/CSS Pre-processors (SASS/LESS), OOJS, Jquery, SASS/Less, Bootstrap, Responsive Design, Accessibility, SEO, Third-party libs integration, Performance optimization, Debugging with tools like fiddler, Unit test cases with JEST, Webpack  ES6, JavaScript, Webpack grunt, SaSS, Json, js unit testing, React, Knowledge of GIT, HTL/Sightly, Knowledge in build and deployment, HBS (handle bar).

 

Good to Have:

 

Knowledge on AEM (how AEM works, Template/component structure, best practices wrt to Markup etc.), AEM Sightly, Handlebars JS
