JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop Web services and micro services for robotics team.
• Design and implement web services and micro services in support of business requirements, software and industry best practices
• Carry out development, unit as well as end-to-end testing, troubleshooting and deployment of services
• Work collaboratively across business and IT organizations
• Problem-solve, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks using Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies
• Mentor and lead team of developers throughout SDLC process

 

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related
• Minimum 10 years application development
• Experience in C#, Java, C++ as well as mainframe/legacy applications
• Experience developing RESTFul APIs and API Gateway integration (Kong/ Apigee/Datapower)
• Open source web application frameworks Node.js, SpringBoot
• Cloud experience AWS, Azure
• Infrastructure as Code tooling/methodology (Terraform, Ansible etc)
• CI/CD pipelines, knowledge of tooling Jenkins/CircleCI/Travis, containerization principles
• Experience with SQL, XML, and JSON
• Scripting experience using Python, Perl, Visual Basic, Shell script
• Knowledge with major Operating System such as Windows, UNIX and Linux
• Excellent design, coding, testing and debugging skills
• Experience in designing and implementing complex projects
• Good oral/written communication and strong commitment to professional/service excellence
