Description-

 

·         5+ years of database/application development in an enterprise environment

·         3+ years' experience with big data technologies in the Hadoop ecosystem, such as MapReduce, Spark, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Oozie, Pig, etc.

·         Proven background in Distributed Computing, Data Warehousing, ETL development, and large-scale data processing.

·         Experience writing production code in Java or Scala

·         Healthcare experience highly preferred

·         Fluent in SQL, stored procedures, query performance tuning

·         Extensive experience in Python and Bash Shell Scripting

·         Broad knowledge of software development – including software architecture, functional and non-functional aspects, CI/CD, principles and tools.

 

 

 

Position- SQL Developer

Location- Boulder, CO / Remote

Description-

·         Design, develop, test and maintain performant SQL queries, and database objects (stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, etc.) using Microsoft technologies and in accordance with established standards

·         Conduct SQL code reviews and participate in database design

·         Manage and maintain all database instances in our environment as to transaction log maintenance, services/jobs maintenance and performance tuning

·         Involve in day-to-day database operations, lead or involve in database trouble shooting, upgrade existing databases and fix production issues

·         Strong knowledge of RDBMS database structure

·         Experience with both normalized and dimensional data models, structured and unstructured data, and hands-on knowledge of data integration techniques

·         Skilled in performance tuning and database server optimization

·         Experienced with automated database deployment tools along with unit and integration testing

·         Strong SQL development experience including building and modifying stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers and indexes

·         Commensurate skills to interact, communicate, present and influence with both technical and science teams
