Job Description

Seeking a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in crop insurance, agricultural risk management, or related financial services domains.

The candidate will bridge business needs with technical solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for:
• Crop insurance products
• Claims workflows
• Collaborate with:
• Farmers
• Insurers
• Regulators
• IT teams
• Analyze:
• Yield data
• Weather models
• Actuarial inputs
• Ensure compliance with:
• USDA RMA (US)
• IRDAI / PMFBY (India)
• Support implementation of:
• Policy administration systems
• GIS mapping tools
• Prepare:
• Functional specifications
• Test cases
• Training materials

Desired Skills

• Strong domain knowledge in:
• Crop insurance
• Agricultural finance
• Experience with:
• Insurance policy systems
• Claims processing
• Compliance reporting
• Proficiency in:
• Excel
• SQL
• BI tools/platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Prior exposure to:
• RCIS
• PMFBY
• Private agri-insurance projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in:
• Business
• Finance
• Agriculture
• Related field
• 3–5 years of BA experience in:
• Insurance
• Financial services
• Certifications preferred:
• CBAP
• CCBA
