Requirement for: Applications Developer Analyst, Intermediate - Tallahassee Florida
End Client: Agency for Persons with Disabilities, 4030 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida 32399.
Project Duration: May 2026 through June 2026 with likely extensions. The initial term of this contract will be for three (3) years, from the initial date at which the contract is executed.
The information security program within the Office of Information Technology works to prevent unauthorized access or exposure of confidential information belonging to persons with developmental disabilities and APD employees. IAM technologies are one of many components utilized in furtherance of this goal.
Responsibilities: The Applications Development Analyst (Intermediate) will be responsible for the following:
- Assists in the definition, development, and documentation of the business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications needed to develop new software programs and applications,
- Writes, translates, and codes, software programs, and applications according to required specifications,
- Writes programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of existing APD applications as necessary,
- Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new and existing applications for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvements, and general debugging,
- Liaise with network administrators, database administrators, system analysts, and business owners to assist in resolving problems with applications/programs; and
- Provides maintenance and support to existing APD business applications.
