JOB DESCRIPTION:           

Role Summary

 

The Guidewire PolicyCenter Functional Lead is responsible for leading the functional design and delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions across the policy lifecycle including New Business Endorsements Renewals Rewrites Cancellations Reinstatements and Underwriting functions The role acts as the primary bridge between business stakeholders product owners architects developers and QA teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable and effective PolicyCenter solutions Responsibilities commonly include leading requirements workshops defining solution approaches managing functional teams supporting Agile delivery and ensuring successful implementation outcomes

• Lead functional workstreams for Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation and enhancement programs
• Manage a team of Business Analysts and Functional Consultants
• Own endtoend functional solutioning across PolicyCenter modules
• Establish functional delivery standards templates and best practices
• Mentor junior functional analysts and support knowledge transfer activities

• Build strong relationships with underwriting operations product compliance and technology stakeholders

 

Required Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Insurance Information Technology or related discipline

 

Experience

 

• 10 years in PC Insurance
• 7 years of Guidewire PolicyCenter experience
• Multiple endtoend PolicyCenter implementations
• Experience in Agile and SAFe delivery environments
• Experience leading distributed onshoreoffshore teams
