Job Description:

 

 

What you'll be doing

• Develop backend applications in python, Golang, Perl, java for automation, data transfer, processing, and ingestion (Linux and Windows OS).

• Work in on-prem as well as cloud-based environments.

• Interact with databases such as MySQL, Aurora

• Write automated test cases for developed code.

• Provide production support and troubleshooting across multiple products on-prem and in cloud. • Write code documentation and install guides.

• Highly motivated self-starter, detail oriented able to work independently.

• Always look out for ways to improve existing processes.

• Strong communication skills when responding to internal and external partners.

 

What your background looks like

• 5+ years coding experience. (Python, go-lang, java, bash, PowerShell, Perl +)

• Database knowledge such as MySQL and Aurora primarily, plus others (Oracle, Vertica, DB2)

• Knowledge and experience using Apache Airflow

• Knowledge and experience using Apache hive

Knowledge and experience working in AWS environment. (S3, EFS, EC2, EMR etc.)

• Knowledge and experience in Agile framework

• Knowledge and experience with the complete SDLC.

• Knowledge and experience using Jira and Confluence (or equivalent)

• Knowledge and experience using source code repositories (git, bitbucket)

• Any ETL tool usage experience is a plus.

• Experience in with OpenShift Containerization Platform and Kubernetes cluster across the cloud platforms is a plus

• Experience with Azure is a plus

Required:

•      5-10 years of relevant experience working in complex integration projects with skills across Oracle SOA suite (BPEL, Mediator) and Oracle Service Bus 12c

•      Thorough understanding of XML, JSON, WSDL, XSD, WADL, Web Service technologies (SOAP, RESTful) and data structures

•      Should have worked on any of these JCA Adapters (Database, File, FTP, JMS)

•      Should have good understanding of Integration patterns and middleware concepts

•      Worked on mappings using XSLT, XQuery and custom Java Code

•      Must have worked with OWSM and WS-Security policies

•      Must know to use API Testing Tools like Postman and SoapUI

•      Must have prior work experience in Agile delivery methodology and DevOps model

•      Strong experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and basic SQL development
