SITEMINDER Consultant
3+ years of hands on experience with CA SiteMinder
Installation and configuration experience with SiteMinder r12.5
Hands on experience setting up SiteMinder Federation is must
Experience working with Application Server Agents is Must. Preferably WebSphere Application Server.
Interfaces with IT and Business stakeholder to understand and document business requirements
Work with the IT counterparts in Security domain to identify and implement optimal solution.
Conducts accurate evaluations of the level of security required for highly complex systems.
Performs root cause analysis of moderately complex to highly complex security issues and determines the best course of action to remedy the problem.
Intermediate level of UNIX and Windows skill.
Knowledge of LDAP, SQL querying
Experience in integrating with CA Identity Manager
Working knowledge of CA Directory.

Job Description:

My client is looking for an experienced Application Packager to provide packaging support for a large enterprise environment consisting of 400+ packaged desktop applications. Qualified candidate will have the capability to drive operational processes while working through a backlog of packages. The position requires a strong operational mindset, coupled with broad technical knowledge including packaging, scripting, and core Windows OS. Communication with requestors is a large portion of the responsibilities and advanced troubleshooting of Windows XP and Windows 7 is needed.

Key responsibilities:

-Package applications to support all major IT projects initiatives, but most specifically Windows 7.

-Work with business units to collect requirements for new applications and existing applications that need to installed for multiple users providing support for Software Deployment and Desktop Builds.

-Validate installers under the various platforms that comprise our environment.

-Participate in the UAT for the application and work with requestor to ensure defects fixed before mass deployment.

-Coordinate with business and IT groups to determine their needs and verify service delivery alignment

Required Technical Experience:

-5 or more years of experience supporting enterprise desktops and laptops.

-Significant experience building unattended installation/de-installation packages for desktop applications in an enterprise environment.

-Experience with Flexera, Installshield, Admin Studio

-Experienced in troubleshooting Windows 7, Windows XP, Vista and Windows Server 2003.

-Ability to implement, upgrade and manage Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) a plus.
