Kofax Developer
configuration, maintenance, and support of enterprise document imaging systems
Location: GA
Duration: 12 to 18 months
KOFAX required.
- Experienced with configuration, maintenance, and support of enterprise document imaging systems.
- Preferred product specialization in Kofax Capture and KTM toolkits.
- Accomplished with imaging deployment and business integration.
- Solid understanding of document imaging best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Advanced experience in imaging technologies including Document Scanning, Distributed Capture, understanding of Imaging File formats, Data Extraction, OCR, ICR, Barcode Recognition, and Document Separation methods
• Work with other technology areas to facilitate integration with external systems
• Perform testing support for ECM applications
• Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on ECM application and systems to diagnose issues and rectify them
• Provide ongoing support of Content Manager for Kofax suite of tools and application systems in production including responding to service requests, problem analysis, resolution, escalation and reporting as necessary
• Identify and participate in improvement, system renewal, stability, and upgrade projects
• Identify and assist in the re-engineering, improvement or replacement of business processes and associated technologies
• Participate in design, coding, debugging, upgrading, implementation and support of these applications
• This role includes occasional on-call and after hours support Required Skills:
• Recent experience in upgrading / developing successful solutions to solve complex business problems using Kofax Capture and KTM
• Must be a self-starter and work well without constant supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks efficiently
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Ascent Capture, Kofax Capture 9 or 10, KTM 5.5 or 6
• Experience with ECM repositories such as IBM's Content Manager or FileNet
• Experience with developing and configuring Web Services in order to customize ECM solutions
• Knowledge of .NET Scripting and ASP .NET in order to develop custom and exception processing modules for Kofax applications including KC10, KTM, KCS, and KCAR
• Certification and/or significant experience with the Kofax Capture 10 suite of tools
• Experience with the IBM Content Manager
• AIIM and/or CompTIA Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+) credentials
• SQL Server 2005/2008, relational databases, and stored procedures.
