Position: IT Project Manager
Remote - Maryland
The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple mid/small projects. The PM will manage all aspects of a project, from beginning to end, with responsibility for project execution.

• Background in healthcare from Laboratory, Drug development companies not from Healthcare Insurance companies.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Manage projects with overall responsibility for project success for numerous mid to smaller projects based on business unit priority.
2. Work with project sponsor(s) and the team to establish project performance goals, metrics and baselines.
3. Develop financial estimates and other financial models, as necessary.
4. Implement and follow Project Management Office standard methodologies, processes and tools, develop and maintains project documentation, work plans and project deliverables. Guide others in the use of the methodology and tools.
5. Manage and motivate project teams, plan work assignments and schedules and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Guide and monitor work performance.
6. Coordinate project activities with Enterprise IT, as appropriate.
7. Accountable to local business unit and IT leadership for project delivery and direction
8. Establish and maintain effective communications with team members, stakeholders, senior management and contacts. Communicate project status to identified stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings.
9. Initiate and maintain issues logs, taking responsibility for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues.
10. Ensure all project time is accounted for and project and team member activities are routinely collected and reported in standard fashion. Estimate resources needed on projects to ensure success.
11. Where appropriate, coordinate vendor activities to ensure project success.
12. Other duties as required.
Minimum Required:
At least 4 Years of experience in the project management job discipline to lead projects, with at least 3 of those years working in technology, healthcare or call center departments
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with budgets in excess of $250,000 leading these projects to successful implementation and life cycle.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide clear messages to all levels (internal and external stakeholders).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills using innovative thinking.
- Experience with standard project management tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field. PMP certification is preferred, but not required
