Job Overview:

• The Architect will collaborate under the direction of the Director, with a highly skilled team of architects and designers, with other IT Stakeholders with primary responsibilities in the Web, Mobile, and Social areas; leveraging in-depth technical knowledge and vision to advance the business's Architectural Capabilities and Maturity across the enterprise

• The Architect should at all times demonstrate seasoned judgment to suggest approaches that optimize among customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities; while striving to realize the Future State vision of IT

• The Architect will document the solutions leveraging existing standards and create new templates where required; present them to appropriate project specific governing bodies for review and approval

• Consulting skills are imperative to gain consensus on solutions propose

• The architect needs to be experienced in designing web and mobile focused solutions in eCommerce, Portal and SOA based environment

 

Technical Skills:

• The ideal candidate must have at least 10-15 years' experience of progressively diverse analysis, development, and testing experience using Java and Web technologies, specifically in software development for ecommerce, enterprise-wide, middleware applications.

• Broad knowledge across key architecture domains (portal, app, data, infrastructure, integration/middleware, security)

• Knowledge of core technologies, including open standards, database, and integration technologies

• Identify solutions by integration of one or more systems/components/network components using standard/product specific API(s).

• Knowledge about API design/specification with strong experience with SOAP/Restful HTTP Based API(s) with JSON or XML.

• Strong experience in defining and creating Architectural & Design artifacts not limited to UML Modeling, ER Diagram, User Interaction designs and Wireframes

• Experience being actively participated in IT Strategy Development and Transformation Program management

• Reviews of API, design, test and deployment strategy and provide recommendation and suggestions.

• Strong in Web technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, ATG, KANA, CMS like Teamsite or Vignette or Alfresco and Web sphere or weblogic Application Servers, Java Portal Technologies

• Extensive hands on application development and technical lead/lead developer experience in Java 6/J2EE, JSP, HTML, CSS, JS framework based projects
• Have knowledge on security, trust certificates and user authentication standards like oAuth.

• Have an eye to the details of Performance and improved User Experience for online application

• Detail experience in WCMS and Web Analytics

• Experience in solutioning and consulting Multi-Channel Access for web portal through web based and mobile based
