Position-Mid Level Java Developer

Location- NYC,NY

Rate -$52/hr C2C

Duration-6 Months+

Inperson Interview  Must after telephonic Screening

 

Principal Responsibility


Design and develop server side applications using Java based technologies like Spring, Hibernate.   A strong foundation and experience in Object Oriented languages like Java is essential.  Also critical is good problem solving skills, experience with web based development and XML helps as well.
 
Exp Skills
 
•       Strong Core Java
•       Experience with open source technologies like Spring framework and Hibernate
•       Experience with XML technologies
•       Unix, Sybase SQL familiarity
•       Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills
•       Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have
•       knowledge of web technologies like javascript, html
Linux experience
JBoss / Tomcat Application Servers
Automated Testing and Build Tools
Relevant Skills/Qualifications:
•       Good interpersonal, business-facing skills
•       Ability to perform under pressure in time-critical situations using sound judgment and professionalism
•       Ability to integrate into and work well within a global team
•       Person should exhibit a flexible attitude and dynamic approach to supporting applications/users as well as undertaking development projects.
•       Financial industry knowledge a plus
