Location : Tallahassee, FL
Duration : 15 Months

Job Description :
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or, equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of IT work experience in DBA, DBMS design and support in a MS .NET SQL Server environment
• Microsoft certifications in one or more of listed skills.
• Experience in Database Administration of MS SQL Server 2008 in a Data Warehouse environment.
• Experience with SAS Business Intelligence Suite using MS SQL Server database highly preferred.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL and Microsoft database tools.
• Experience in designing, managing and optimizing tablespaces, indexes, etc. where concurrent bulk updates and queries to data do not affect response times.
• Experience in SQL Development -- ability to design, write and troubleshoot SQL Code (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, etc.).
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues – preferred.
• Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools - preferred.
• Documentation skills for processes and procedures
