KEY QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for CF Infrastructure Architect (AWS) will have experience designing and

implementing complex and scalable infrastructure architectures on Amazon Web Services. You are a results oriented technologist who can communicate well, and are a hands-on architect.

You are driven to work with leading infrastructure and data platforms to solve complex problems

Simply. You:

• Have a proven ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly
• Must be a passionate technologist who is has experience designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure architectures that scale
• Must be a great written and verbal communicator
• Have a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related discipline
• Ideally have prior experience in Consulting/Professional Services

TECHNICAL SKILLS - REQUIRED

• 4+ years experience designing and implementing infrastructure architectures for a large production website
• 2+ years Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience, leveraging EC2, EBS, and S3
• 1+ years Hadoop infrastructure experience
• 2+ years experience in datacenter operations
• 2+ years experience in network administration, production database support or website support
• Expert knowledge of Linux / Unix systems
• Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
• A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment models

TECHNICAL SKILLS – PREFERRED

• 2+ years VMware vSphere / ESXi / ESX experience
• Experience with a platform as a service product such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
• 2+ years experience with Chef, Puppet, BOSH, or related automation / orchestration tools
• DNS experience - Amazon Route53 experience a plus
• Amazon CloudFormation experience
• Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (NewRelic, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, Nagios, Ganglia etc.)
• A software development background is a big plus
