Position : Java Developer with Strong Drools Experience
Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration : 12 Months
Interview : Phone/Skype
• Key: 60% Java and 40% Drools – They need to be an expert in both areas and able to integrate Java and Drools.
Experience Required:
• 5 + Years of Java Experience
• 3 years experience on Websphere Application Server
• 3 years of Unix Experience
• 1+ years of experience in ESB/Web Services
Responsibilities:
· A resource is required to ensure all of the system applications are configured correctly and the deployments are correctly done, and be responsible for the monitoring the entire implementation.
· This resource will work with the DHS programming staff to recommend changes per business requirements.
· The resource is to have an expertise in Unix/Linux, as well the various other system software (i.e. WAS, WPS, WESB).
· In addition, he/she must have experience and knowledge of JAVA and Websphere products (see below).
· Specific duties include: Downloading code updates from the federal repository (GitHub).
· Deploying code (EAR files) to the Websphere environment(s).
· Running Test scripts to ensure that the deployments are working.
· Working with the testers and subject matter experts to identify code and deployment problems.
· Searching and identifying log entries to identify problems areas.
· Identifying and recommending specific code changes to DHS staff and the federal repository.
· Documentation and knowledge transfer for DHS staff.
· The MMIS division is responsible for Minnesota Medicaid claims processing and has an infrastructure consisting of SUN Solaris (being phased out), Linux, Oracle, IBM Websphere Application Server, Websphere Process Server and Websphere Enterprise Service Bus, Websphere Transformation extender, and an IBM mainframe COBOL environment.
· Our developer tools include Rational Application Developer, Websphere Integration Developer, and IBM WTX design Studio.
