Position: Java Integration Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 months contract

Description
Looking for strong Java Integration Developer with experience in Hi-tech industry.
The successful candidate has a passion for using XSL, Java, WS, JDBC and ESB technology to build and deploy exciting solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Design, estimate, code and test complex programs.
Prepare detailed specifications for programs.
Solve existing systems logic difficulties as required.
Interact with clients and development teams.
Participate in multiple assignments at the same time.
Improve and/or develop computer systems to meet users' needs by: finding solutions; solving complex or moderately complex problems; making estimates concerning work to be done; programming, testing, debugging and documenting systems.
Take part in all project phases to ensure project completion by cooperating with and offering advice to users, meeting deadlines, and communicating status reports.
Ensure that systems are optimal and meet the quality standards of the business area by making analyses and suggestions and developing assessments.
Provide recommendations in order to participate in improving development and system maintenance processes.
Create system design documentation outlining overview, diagrams and designs specific to users, application system and technical requirements.
Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, documenting and implementing of applications and scripts in collaboration with quality assurance.
Analyze existing or proposed projects to determine their feasibility and time estimates.
Evaluate existing and new applications and upcoming technologies to meet user requirements.

Required Skills
9+ years of Java experience.
Experience with JSF, EJB, J2EE, Web Services (XML, XSLT, XPath, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, etc.), JavaBeans, JPA/EclipseLink/TopLink.
Experience implementing Java based, service oriented architectures (SOA) based on web services and enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies.
The ability and desire to learn and be productive in new technologies quickly.
Technical skills in another technology area, e.g., .NET is desirable.
Experience with Hibernate, Springs, Struts, Maven, etc. is very desirable.
Nice to have exposure on Tibco.
