Job Description
Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.  The Data Center Application Delivery Specialist will design, implement, deploy, and support F5 and other load balancers in 2000+ nodes environment with over 20000 IP addresses. This is a hands-on position and is responsible maintaining the whole life cycle of these application load balancer and web application firewalls. You will be responsible for configuring equipment, monitor and maintain the equipment for high availability, doing in-depth troubleshooting analysis and problem resolution, and provide monthly metric reports. At times your response may be required on evenings or weekends. Candidates must have advanced knowledge of IP based networking principles, practices and technology, deployed on Cisco Networks switches and routers, and experience with LAN/WAN data center operations, design, and network operations & monitoring. Responsibilities: • Conduct product evaluation • Conduct product design and testing • Plan and execute migrations and implementations • Setup proactive monitoring of the equipment • Plan upgrades and network changes • Provide training for level 1 and level 2 support • Engage in level 3 support • Provide deep dive problem analysis • Author Global Standard Operating Procedures and Support Procedures • Create detailed network diagrams and technical documentation • Develop and track service key performance indicators • Provide monthly SLA reports • Assist in yearly budget planning Qualifications: • Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university • Must have 5+ years of application security and load balancing experience • Must have 3+ years of experience deploying and configuring F5 BIG-IP (LTM, APM, ASM, and AFM) running on Viprion chassis • Must have 3+ years of supporting routing protocols and network design. • Must have experience of IP based networking and Cisco network switches and routers • Must have advanced knowledge of IP based routing and switching on Cisco environment. • Must have experience with data center change planning and supporting processes • Must be able to plan, execute, and communication project plans • Must have strong problem solving, analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills • Must have the ability to take lead on incident research when appropriate and be able to mentor junior analysts • Must be able to interact with vendors, clients and internal teams in a professional and articulate way • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  • F5 certified candidates are preferred
