Position: Sql  Server  DBA/Architect

Location: Foster City, CA

Duration: 6 months+

Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate with strong database architecture skills, having at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable degree. - proven track record as a senior database architect working in the healthcare space.

The following skills are must to have:

. HL7 expertise

• 5+ years database administration experience, database server implementations, system and query performance tuning • 5+ years of database architecture and schema design • Extensive knowledge of advanced database features such as SQL clustering, database encryption, database normalization, SSIS ETL, transactional replication, database mirroring, database security, log shipping, and SSAS infrastructure administration • Knowledge of virtualization and experience with virtualized database environments • Experience working in an Agile development environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts

Additionally, the following experience is desired:

• XML/XSLT

• Java - J2E

• Multi-threaded applications

• Object  Oriented Programming

• Test driven development

• SOA - Service Oriented Architecture

• Spring

• Web

• Server/client technology

• Restful API/Web Services

• Security
