Job Title: SAS Developer

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6-12 Months

Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only.

 

Developer III Specialized (SAS) performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.

 

Day to day activities?

Engage the business team and partner with them

Understand the challenges

Find effective ways to solve their challenges

 

What is the group dynamic?

Work as a team; think out the box; find an way to solve business team's challenges

 

What is appealing about this position to a Contractor?

New ideas; new challenges; finding way to make our customers productive

 

Must have's?

SAS

Overall data mgmt experience – data analysis, data modeling etc

BI reporting development – Tableau, Spotfire and the like

Working experience in the data visualization space is a plus

Out of box thinking

Excellent communication skills

Collaborative

Be a good negotiator

Be outcome focused

 

Industry background? (i.e. Mortgage, Financial, Large Company?

Risk Management – Cap Mkts
