Job Title: ECM Solution Specialist

Duration: Contract role

Position Summary:

IT solution specialist for the company's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) program initiative. Candidate will possess hands-on technical experience working with agile methodologies, proven software development practices, and product integration, administration, and support. Candidate will be highly skilled in providing quality deliverables, excellent communication and service delivery, and strong analytical and problem solving skills

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Works as part of a team aimed to develop, enhance, and support Client’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions and future strategy, specifically focused on document capture and information management to enable the organization to originate, service and administer loss management of Mortgage Insurance certificates. Implements practical ECM solutions aligned with the business capabilities that balance cost, expediency and effectiveness with overall IT architectural integrity and technical elegance.

Responsibilities include the definition, design, development, deployment of new business solutions, configurations, and the support for existing ECM products and custom-developed services. Provide specialized proficiency in the decomposition of technical requirements, detailed design and technical specification, task-level estimation, system integration development and documentation, product setup, configuration, administration and support.

 

ECM Product Configuration, Administration and Support

•        Implements product configurations to specification

·         Validates and inspects configuration to ensure consistency across environments

·         Performs installs and upgrades when applicable

·         Implements new project and support requests

·         Provides ongoing support for applications and end-users, and ensures system uptime availability and customer service levels

·         Supports regular release deployments

·         Provides and acts upon key performance indicator and service level metrics

·         Recommends and contributes to automation efforts

·         Performs daily administration and support duties

·         ECM Solution Development and Integration

·         Works with Business Analyst to translate requirements into system capabilities

·         Designs and deploys Client’s ECM solution, including interfaces with key systems and potential vendor partners supporting forward-looking capabilities

·         Develops enterprise-level enhancements, capabilities, features, and functional application and custom integration solutions including major

·         Provides knowledge and expertise on the integration touch-points

·         Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated solutions to improve overall system usage and support

·         Documents technical specifications, designs, development and test deliverables utilizing appropriate software engineering tools and practices

·         Ensures ECM non-functional and security requirements are implemented to specification

General Responsibilities

·         Promotes positive and productive working relationships with other teams, including business and outside clients

·         Actively participates and directly interacts with Development, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Governance teams

•        Provides transparency on ECM service and operational activities

•        Identifies and recommends enhancements to the ECM platform

·         Performs research on new and advanced ECM capabilities

·         Understands product roadmap and reconciles implementation requirements to requested / needed capabilities

·         Evangelizes ECM capabilities, its guiding principles and field of use

·         Works in conjunction with the Director of ECM on capacity planning, analysis, and estimation

·         Accountable for the success and realization of the business benefit provided by the ECM solution

Knowledge:

·         Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field

·         5 or more years of experience with large-scale IT solution implementation and design

Skills and Abilities:

·         Prior implementation experience with ECM technology providers including Ephesoft, OnBase, Alfresco is preferred. Experience with traditional ECM solution providers including EMC, IBM, Oracle, OpenText, Kofax are acceptable

·         Proven understanding of design techniques and experience with multiple types of data structures and database access methods

·         Experience working on multiple / cross-team software projects

·         Demonstrated knowledge of programming and design principles, methodologies, tools and techniques

·         Full software life cycle experience. Knowledge of custom business application development lifecycles and implementation practices (Agile methodology preferred)

·         High level of energy and enthusiasm. Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and advanced problem solving skills. Needs to be resilient; resolving conflicts quickly to achieve desired business results

·         Excellent communication, both written and verbal

·         Technical skills and background in:

·         ECM document capture and storage solutions

·         .NET platform, Java, Open Source (or any other environment)

·         Web services (SOAP and REST) / XML

·         Cloud / SAAS models, UI, and SOA / integration implementation practices

·         N-tier, multithreaded, design and development frameworks

·         SQL database design and development

·         Experience with AWS / Azure cloud-based solution implementations are a plus

·         Familiarity with the mortgage business and/or insurance claims processing are a plus

·         5-8 Years of Experience

·         Bachelor's Degree - Info Systems Management, Computer Science or related field
