We are looking to fill a UNIX/LINUX Engineer position we have in San Francisco, CA Area.

 

Job Description:

 

Job Title: Systems Engineer/Linux RedHat

Duration: 6 months

Location: San Francisco, CA

 

- Red Hat Linux running in a 24x7 environment; nfs, shell scripting, performance tuning, patch management
- Must have working knowledge of network (LAN/WAN) technologies and UNIX system management tools
- Apache Tomcat 7.x webserver in a clustered environment

- Knowledge of UNIX server hardware components
- Experience in supporting systems running Oracle Database, running ad-hoc queries, troubleshooting connection issues
- Adept at researching technology solutions with all available resources
- Previous experience working with Remedy based ticketing systems a plus
- F5, ASM experience a plus
