Position :  Java  WebDeveloper/  UI Developer

Location:   Rochester, NY

Duration:  12 Months+ 

Job Requirement:

Must Have:

n  HTML5 - JavaScript and JQuery (Advanced/Intermediate)

n  Java Object Oriented programming experience

n  CSS (Advanced/Intermediate)

n  Cross-Browser Compatibility Experience

n  Programming/Designing for Mobile (at least some, the more the better)

n  Unit Testing Experience (knowing Jasmine specifically a plus, but any unit testing experience from any language is good)

n  Server Side Language/Scripting Experience (any language/script that serves data to a UI layer: PHP, JSP/Java, ASP/.Net, Python, Server side JavaScript)

n  Experience with Windows, Linux or Unix command line work

n  Experience working with XML

n  Experience working in teams

n  Experience writing documentation (experience with automated documentation tools a big plus)

n  Experience with version control systems

 

Good to Have:

n  AngularJS experience (this could also fall in the must have but people are picking it up pretty quickly)

n  LESS experience

n  Java Server and Spring experience

n  UX experience (academic or job related)

n  Graphic Design experience (Adobe products, print production tools, academic or job related)

n  Experience writing reusable JavaScript libraries or components

n  Oracle, SQL, or other database experience

n  Agile experience

n  Web Security Programming/Practices

 

Bonus:

n  RTC experience

n  Experience with other JavaScript Frameworks (DOJO, KnockoutJS, EmberJS)

n  Jenkins / Build Automation experience

n  Python Experience

n  Grunt and/or ANT task automation

n  NodeJS experience
