POSITION

PEGA Developer

Phoenix, AZ.
1 year and then extension for an additional year

Face-to-face in Phoenix

Must Have Skills:
5 or more years of technology experience working on PRPC platforms. The candidate must have demonstrated extensive capability as a developer in distributed environments over the 5+ year period in PRPC, C#, C++, or Java

 

Nice to Have:
Senior Certification with Pega (CSSA)

 

Additional Details:
-5 or more years' experience in Pega Systems PRPC BPM Solution development. - PRPC Certified Senior Systems Architect (CSSA), or higher, preferred. - Experience in PRPC version 6 or later - Experience in using & building PRPC frameworks for reuse, using Pega Connectors & Services for integration, PRPC tools PAL, Tracer, Security Model, Access Groups, UI Portals, Log Analyzer - Must have significant experience in J2EE applications development using EJBs, Webservices, JSPs, JDBC, JMS, etc. - Agile Development methodologies strongly preferred. - Must have significant experience using thin client development using XML, XSLT, Stylesheets, HTML, AJAX, Webservices, etc. - Should have hands-on experience with XML processing for SOAP and Websphere Webservices etc. - Must be familiar with J2EE deployment model (EAR,WAR etc). - Must have hands-on experience with deploying on Websphere Application Server; should be familiar with Websphere administration console and other Websphere components - Must have familiarity with design and development of GUI using Java SWING, preferably using Eclipse. Must have familiarity with Java SWING design patterns such as MVC, asynchronous callback etc. - Must have working knowledge of UNIX, Shell programming etc. - Must have working knowledge of SQL, preferably on Oracle. - Should have developed test cases on Junit testing framework. - Should be familiar with OR mapping tools such as TopLink, Hibernate - Should be familiar with the architecture of Websphere MQ - Queue Manager, Queues, Channels, messages, message persistence, queue listeners etc. - Should have experience in message processing design patterns such as synchronous/asynchronous request-response, fire and forget etc on Websphere MQ/JMS. - Should be conceptually familiar with document management, imaging, capture etc. - Should promote teamwork among groups, coach Others and hold frequent development discussions - Must be able to listen and work with others to create solutions - Should address conflict with others directly and constructively to promote mutually agreeable resolutions - Should use domain expertise in decision making - Should use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. - Candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and work effectively in a dynamic fast paced team environment
