Senior Network Applications Engineer; C++, embedded Linux/RTOS
Looking for a Senior Network Applications Engineer to be involved in the development of network applications to design and implement changes in a consumer networking product. Wireless/Wired knowledge in an open and secure network access with the ability to design, implement and support streaming audio services.
· Effective communication skills at building relationships across organizations
· Proven ability to resolve technical issues and arrive at the best multi-disciplinary solution using root cause analysis procedures
· Solid foundation in embedded system design, OOA/OOD/OOP concepts, and operating system concepts
· Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, DHCP, HTTP, SSDP, Bonjour, DLNA, VPN, Firewalls and LANs
· Strong networking debugging and analyzing packet capture skills (WireShark, libpcap, tcpdump, etc.)
· Strong C++ design, coding, unit test and debug skills
· Experience in developing network protocols and application level software
· Experience with bi-directional inter-processor communications
· Strong Experience with embedded Linux/RTOS
· Experience with at least one software configuration management tool: Perforce, Clearcase, Concurrent Versions System (CVS), Subversion (SVN), GIT, Mercurial
BSCS/BSCE/BSEE (5+ years of professional experience), or MSCS/MSCE/MSEE (3+ years of professional experience)
