Position: Sr. .Net Architect

Location: Harrisburg PA

Duration: 6+ months

Senior Architect responsible for designing, developing, and implementing application infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet the organization's objectives and requirements.

We are seeking an individual with a strong technical background and experience designing and building solutions for the Healthcare arena, including deep understanding of clinical data workflows, application design, secure transmission and delivery of data, benchmarking, and reporting.

In addition The Architect will help with Design and implementation of an Enterprise Identity Provider Service to provide a secure single sign-on for applications developed and maintained at the DOH

Position Description:

- Direct the architectural and programmatic changes necessary to the messaging gateway application to meet the requirements as defined in the requirements document.

- Lead and conduct architectural design sessions.

- Lead the development team in modifying and enhancing the new application to meet requirements.

- Working with business area to understand requirements and design/develop system according to those requirements.

- Direct and participate in all phases of design, development and implementation for the messaging gateway project.

- Work with PM to provide regular status and progress reports to project stakeholders

Technical Skills Required:

10 years IT experience including all facets of application development in a variety of environment

10 years of Experience Architecting/developing Microsoft ASP.Net +VB.Net applications and WCF.

5 years of Experience with SQL Server and SSRS 2005/2008 database experience

2 years of Experience with SQL Server and SSRS 2012 database experience

2 years of Experience with architecting/implementing Trust Frameworks

Ability to work collaboratively and a demonstrated team player with a results-oriented track record

Highly self-directed and able to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent, and competing or conflicting challenges

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Technical Experience Desired:

Experience with SAML/WS-Security

Versed in healthcare industry standards such as HL7

Working knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architectures and technology engines

Working knowledge of business rules engines

Requires ability to communicate clearly and concisely through written and verbal communications

Proficient in developing technical documentation
