REQUIREMENT:

Job Title: Deployment Engineer

Duration: 6 months +

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Job Description

• Explore enterprise/ISV applications desired by customers, in different verticals and onboard them to the cloud using CliQr CloudCenter platform.
  
• Onboard different types of applications on the cloud - Java, .Net, php, Ruby on Rails, Cluster Compute, Desktop, Hadoop/Big Data applications.
  
• Write and maintain scripts (shell, perl, ruby or power script) for provisioning or deploying applications on cloud.
  
• Ownership of QA, verification and any customer approval.
  
• Good communication skills to work closely with Product Management and Marketing teams in making applications available to our customers.
  
• Flexibility to work on Windows and different flavors of Linux.
  
• Required skills:
  
• Experience in deploying applications to Tomcat / Apache Web server/ IIS or any other J2EE complaint application server.
  
• Experience writing and maintaining scripts (Shell, Perl, Ruby) for provisioning/deployment of applications.
  
• Experience with SQL or similar databases.
  
• Out-of-box thinking to be creative with scripts
  
• Ability to understand application topology and dependencies
  

Desired skills:

• Experience in black box and/or white box testing (easier transition to use scripting for on-boarding apps)
  
• Prior Cloud experience.
  
• Good power shell scripting skills.
