Title: Citrix Engineer

Location: Hartford, CT, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long term

 Need Experince 8 +

Role Responsibilities

·         Responsible for administration of existing Citrix 6.5 infrastructure on a VMWare hypervisor. This includes all the feature sets of Citrix XenApp Platinum (Edgesight, StoreFront, Provisioning Services, etc.) and other Citrix concepts and products (Citrix licensing, Citrix architecture, NetScaler, etc.)

·         Expert in Citrix solution roadmap and Citrix application optimization

·         Responsible for systems, network, and IPT administration including Windows Server 2003/2008, Terminal Servers, Citrix XenApp, VMWare, etc.

·         Responsible for server sizing, ordering, procurement, and deployment. Evaluate hardware and software and manage the vendor relationship

·         Develop and maintain department documentation and action plans including policies and procedures, disaster recovery plans, user guides and best practices

·         Retain full ownership of high-level tasks and projects

·         The ability to run a project team

·         Be able to manage escalations and communications at all levels of IT

·         Ability to put together a detailed business case for any proposed solutions

·         The vision and ability to create overall strategic architecture for area of expertise

·         Demonstrate strong leadership and presentation skills

·         Ability to mentor and cross-train team members

·         Ability to work with and manage relationships with vendors and partners

·         A minimum of related IT work experience and or related education

·         Citrix certification a plus, but not required

·         6yrs plus applicable certifications

·         Experience in accounting industry a big plus.
