GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Senior C# Developer is responsible for the product development of web applications utilizing C# and AngularJS in an Agile / Scrum development environment. This full stack development position provides expert level skill in the full stack development of applications as a member of a scrum team to deliver new product ideas to the healthcare market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· A team member of the scrum team, designs and creates programs to bring new product development ideas to market
· Provides ideas, experience and insight to help the development team use good coding practices as well as alternative implementation approaches
· Advanced AngularJS and .Net Technology development
· Performs unit testing and complex debugging;
· Collaborates with other team members to resolve problems
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelors in computer science, engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience; May have technology certifications
· 6+ years of progressive work experience designing and developing full stack applications in a C# environment.
· Experience with data modeling, relational databases, data structures and design
· Experience working with Product and Business Management teams
· Experience working in an entrepreneurial company
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Substantial experience in the full stack development of new applications (not maintaining existing applications)
· Agile development experience in required
· Experience with the following is required:
o AngularJS or very strong JavaScript skills
o C#
o NUnit, Jasmine, Karma
o Bootstrap or very strong with CSS3
o HTML5
o GIT
o Relational database programming (SQL)
· Experience with the following is highly desirable:
o Healthcare experience
o Grunt, NuGet, Node.js, Bower, Less
o Creating and consuming RESTful services
o Oracle
· Other nice to have skills:
o Jenkins, Gradle
Soft Skills:
· Driven to collaborate with the team on approach and demonstrates the initiative to work independently
· Explores alternative approaches independently to break down impediments or to close gaps in understanding
· Knows how to work hard but still have fun
· Ability to work under pressure. Maintains composure
· Be Agile: be flexible and embrace change
