Project Location	Charlestown, MA
Duration	12 months /Contract

 
Skills Required and Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Minimum requirements: B.A. or B.S. required; Minimum of five years of SQL Server T-SQL database development and DBA support experience; Strong experience writing and tuning stored procedures, views, and functions; Strong SSIS and SSRS experience; Solid understanding of database design and data modeling; Experience optimizing databases and a strong understanding of indexing strategy; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong work ethic and ability to work under tight timeframes with limited supervision.     Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.   Description: SQL 2008 Database Engineer Candidate shall provide a SQL 2008 Database Engineer to support the Center for Health Care Financing, State Supplemental Program (SSP). Specific goals and responsibilities for the Statement of Work resulting from this RFQ include:   Understand the business and data as it pertains to the SSP program; Contribute to the continuous support and improvement of the SSP application; Write SQL queries and ad hoc reports to answer business questions and support daily data export operations; Develop and Manage databases for research and analysis; Assist business in developing views and queries for research and analysis; Develop Managerial Reports utilizing SSRS; Assist Data Analysts in duties; Team Foundation Server experience a plus.
