Job Title Oracle Software Engineer
Project Location AZ-Arizona/Phoenix

Skills:
Oracle Software Engineer tomaintain an existing Oracle Forms and Reports application and to work on production support and trouble shoot production issues. Other responsibilities include:
- Develop SQL, PL/SQL scripts for data analysis and data cleanup as needed.?
- Work with other Software Engineers in identifying and resolving application issues.?
- Work with Project Managers to provide estimate of effort for work and progress of work?
- Work with Business Analysts and business users to understand problems, enhancements and data changes requested.?
- Work with Quality Assurance and Release Coordinator to transition changes made from development to system test and to production.?
- Use incident tracking system JIRA to document changes made and progress?
- Use software version control Mercurial to track code changes.?
- Attend status meetings as required.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (minimum 3 years experience in Information Technology)?
- Minimum 3 years experience in Web deployed Oracle Forms and Reports development?
- Minimum 3 years experience using Oracle databases?
- Minimum 3 years experience in writing PL/SQL?
- Minimum 3 years experience using software development methodologies to perform analysis, design, construction and implementation of custom software?
Desired
- Experience using Agile methodology is a plus?
- Experience designing systems around the use of automated workflow, document imaging, and custom business applications is a plus?
- Experience in the Financial/Retirement sector, including administration of retirement systems and/or health insurance is a plus?
- Proven ability to multi-task on concurrent projects?
- Excellent oral and written communication skills?
- Participation in education will be considered a plus
