Job Title: Business Analyst I

Location: Cerritos, CA/REMOTE

Type: Contract

Rate: $47/Hr on C2C/1099 Maxx

 

Detailed Description:

* Responsible for providing analytical support through research, data gathering, interpretation and development or testing of policies and procedures and reporting. Responsibilities include assisting in developing documenting business requirements and developing case scenarios in the development of new or enhanced systems.

* Researches and analyzes data to identify trends or potential issues.

* May develop plans and proposals to address issues.

* Participates in the development and management of project plans from project planning and design through testing, implementation and maintenance.

* Prepares written reports and verbal presentations summarizing project objectives, analysis, conclusions, issues and recommendations.

* Communicates with and organizes division staff or project team to meet project objectives.

* Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training or experience is required.

* A minimum of 3 years related experience.

* Detail orientated, creative and flexible.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions.

* Strong organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.

* Experience with both process and data-driven structured analysis techniques.

* Knowledge of Delta Dental products, policies, claims, eligibility and policies, procedures and guidelines.

* PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency in

* InDesign preferred.

* Regularly required to work standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine

* Ability to work on a computer up to 7 hours a day.

* Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk.

* Regularly required to use hands to operate computer and other office equipment.

* Close vision required for computer usage.

* Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 pounds.

* Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.

* Ability to report to perform tasks in a physical work office environment.

* Ability to clearly present written information and findings.

* Must be able to understand fairly complex written and oral instructions.

* Ability to communicate concepts.

* Ability to make executive-level presentations.

* Ability to interact well with co-workers and outside contacts.

 

100% remote, must work PST time zone.

 

Team member will provide support for education and training of internal stakeholders, live webinars, develop collateral for teaching the doctors for how to use the services.

Will service and support activities surrounding team's reporting for adoption activity for behavior we are looking to change

Will be responsible for managing data in a way that helps create a dashboard for change management progress.

Supporting all the work associated with the areas, work with a number of people internally to facilitate the workflow and

Preference for experience with Adobe Analytics and Tableau but not required; need excellent writing and communication skills, if possible project management skills (nice to have but not a need).

Vizeo is a nice to have but not required. Product team creates process maps;

Example of projects this business analyst will support include: accelerated digital adoption for providers is underway (moving Dental providers from paper processing to digital process for any activity affiliated with Delta Dental) ; focused on doing outreach to providers who will convert all manual paperwork that generates calls for providers, converting this workflow into digital. Role is tied to adoption and education/training, collateral, user manuals, email outreach, paper outreach, looking to identify constituents, organizing the activity surrounding the workflow to convert the doctor over to digital; help guide the path, offer nurturing high touch, white glove experience, getting them closer to becoming adopted on new process.

If capable of helping with call activity for adoption, provider tool specific email request- they may be responding to inbox coming in, need someone who is front facing with providers.
