TOR/descriptor profile for an SAP Fiori Developer
New York ( Remote )
Initial 1-year period
Responsibilities:
As part of Umoja's Delivery team, and under the supervision of ERP staff, the SAP Fiori and ABAP Developer will be responsible for the following duties:
· Supports the design, development and maintenance of SAP Fiori Application, including architecture and implementation of new OData layer and Fiori UI components for the Umoja solution.
· Develops oData services using ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) and Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF).
· Effectively analyses and supports the design of Fiori Applications and OData layer required by the project, including in respect of design, build, configure, testing, management of the existing Fiori Applications
· Develops OData layer to support Fiori Applications. This includes writing the necessary classes in ABAP in the OData layer, including BOPF determinations and validations.
· Creates Functional Acceptance Testing Documents.
· Keeps abreast of developments of new products and technologies; provides leadership on introducing technological changes; prepares various technical reports.
Required Experience and skills:
A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a full life cycle implementation of a SAP ERP [planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance], specifically:
- FIORI development skills (required):
o SAPUI5 hands-on experience with a portfolio of at least 5 custom apps
o Knowledge of architecture and best practices for SAP UX.
o Front End Development with SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery
o Exposure to technologies such as Angular JS, React JS, VueJS
o Responsive UI design for mobile & tablets, including the Flexible Column Layout (FCL)
o Full Stack Development: Apps utilizing OData (REST), on SAP NetWeaver Gateway
o Knowledge of when to use different binding types, particularly oData bindings and JSON bindings.
o Experience with WebIDE development tools
o Working knowledge of source control solutions such as GIT
- ABAP CDS/BOPF skills (required):
o Creating ABAP CDS Views for complex data models
o Data modeling and creation of Z-tables for custom data models
o Developing oData services using BOPF including programming ABAP classes to implement validations and determinations
o Experience with querying HANA hierarchy views from ABAP CDS
o Utilizing ABAP CDS Navigations and Input Parameters
- Other (desirable)
o Experience in extending the SAP Finance/Controlling modules (FICO) and Treasury by developing FRICEW objects (forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and workflow) using several of following tools: ABAP programming language, ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, user-exits, SAP authorization objects, Web Dynpro for ABAP, SAP Business Workflow, SAP Script and/or SAP Adobe forms is desirable.
