JavaScript Automation Engineer

Please focus on the following skills:

 

1) Experience in JavaScript - API automation testing with Graphql.

2) Experience with test tool sets/frameworks - Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium web driver, Maven.

3) Experience in NodeJs, Javascript and Java spring framework development.

4) Deep understanding of Object-Oriented principles.

5) Experience in Visual testing tools and Storybook

 

Responsibilities

 

Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimates and validation tests

Develop automated tests for features developed in-sprint

Perform desk checks and code reviews

Develop, document, and maintain the test strategy and test scenarios

Partner with the developers to ensure all areas of the application are fully tested and issues are clearly logged and prioritized consistently

Partner with developers to find technical solutions for test automation

Manage the defect log and ensure issues are resolved, including validation of the fix

Certify software functionality for new Production releases

Work with Integration Build teams to manage Dev, QA and production release of software

Provide exploratory testing to understand the feature and how it is implemented, to find additional or unexpected behavior, and to refine and define additional test cases for the feature

 

Qualifications :

 

8+ years of JavaScript development experience.

Ability to work independently with an aptitude for detailed work and follow-up activities.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Experience in API automation testing with Graphql.

Experience in developing test using Gherkin and Cucumber.

Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium Webdriver, Nodejs and JAVA).

Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)

Experience with source control versioning systems (Git, Stash, Bitbucket.)

Experience with test tool sets/frameworks - Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium web driver, Maven.

Knowledge in CI/CD processes and tools preferably Jenkins.

Minimum 6 years industry experience, preferably in an Agile development environment.

NodeJs, Javascript and Java spring framework development experience.
