2. Are we okay with remote candidates? If NO How soon is the client expecting them to be onsite?: NO remote. We need the person in Ohio. 3 months to be in OH is fine
3. Please call out Mandatory skills from the below JD : Though JD says Azure, we need the person experienced in AWS and Kubernetes as well. It's a very senior role

Azure Cloud Architect, Azure services, AKS,TF, PowerShell and Cloud Native # Should have 10-12 years working experience with minimum 6 years in Azure Cloud. # Should have Azure Infra Architectural design experience. # Must worked with at least 2 to 3 large projects where complete architecture responsibility was taken care. # Should have hands-on knowledge in container orchestrator services like Kubernetes. # Should have worked on Azure Kubernetes Services(AKS) and experience in handling AKS clu ster creation, maintenance etc. # Should have created Application solutions using Cloud Services on Azure . # Should be able to analyze services, technologies and tools and provide suggestions # Hands-on with any scripting language like PowerShell P ython TF. # Certification on Azure Architecture is mandatory. # Certification on CKAD CKA will be added advantage. # Experience in working on SRE model is added advantage.
