Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer Location: Sunnyvale, CA Type: Contract Description: Docker, Kubernetes and environment creation using scripts or java / ruby are the key requirements. 1. Resource should have minimum 2+ years on cloud technologies. 2. Should be an Azure Certified resource or should be holding any certification on Linux OS 3. Should have in-depth knowledge on Azure architecture. 4. Should have hands-on experience with various CI/CD tool sets (GitHub, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker) 5. Should have extensive knowledge on CI/CD pipeline creation and containerization 6. Experience deploying Kubernetes ecosystem into Azure Container Service. 7. Automation experience using Python/Ruby/Go – any scripting Additional Job Details What You'll Be Doing · Create and maintain pipelines in Jenkins to automate deployment of code and resources (CICD) · Create and configure appropriate cloud resources to meet the needs of the end users, including Azure Kubernetes Clusters and compute instances · Work with platform users to understand requirements and use cases, and to advise on strategy and best practices for use of the platform · Monitor cloud-based systems and components for availability, performance, reliability, security, and efficiency. Build a system that fulfills non-functional requirements and service level agreements. · Perform all support activities including training and enablement of platform users · Treat infrastructure as a product and provide ideas on how to continually improve automation services and resiliency of the platform · Document DevOps processes, procedures, and environments to ensure continuity · Work within and support operations colleagues and address work within the DevOps scope Qualifications: · Minimum of five years IT/DevOps engineering experience and a minimum of three years of experience working in Linux server administration with RedHat, Centos or similar toolsets · Strong experience applying DevOps and CI/CD concepts; CI experience in multiple tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Visual Studio Team Services, etc.) · Strong scripting experience in PowerShell, Python or similar scripting language · Applied knowledge of CI/CD DevOps principles · Experience with containers: Docker, Kubernetes · Understanding of Azure including Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory · Experience with Microsoft Azure to deploy highly-available, scalable, and secure applications · Knowledge of Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban) · Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools · Expertise across one or multiple cloud domains of security, performance, cost, and automation Nice To Have Skills · Experience with Kublr and Grafana · Willingness to adapt to new technology and changes in the environment · Ability to work effectively and manage multiple priorities while collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams · Ability to constantly evaluate the company's environment and search out areas for improvement Thanks & Regards Avisheak Singh asingh@tranzeal.com www.tranzeal.com |
