Position: Snowflake Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: Long Term Contract
Technical/Functional Skills:
1. Experience with Snowflake DBT
2. ETL Datastage Expertise
3. SQL
Tools:
· Snowflake DBT
· Datastage
· SQL & PL/SQL
· Rest API, Postman API
· Gitlab (repository and CI/CD pipelines)
· qTest
· JIRA
· GRADLE
· Intellij
Responsibilities:
1. Snowflake data engineers will be responsible for architecting and implementing very large scale Snowflake Data Warehouse.
2. Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination IBM Datastage and Snowflakes DBT
3. Writing SQL queries against Snowflake and developing scripts Unix, etc. to do Extract, Load and Transform data
4. Minimum 2 year of designing and implementing a fully operational production grade large scale data solution on Snowflake Data Warehouse.
5. 3 years of hands on experience with building productionized data ingestion and processing pipelines using IBM Datastage, SNOW Flake DBT
6. Expertise and excellent understanding of Snowflake Internals and integration of Snowflake with other data processing and reporting technologies
7. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
