ServiceNow Business Analyst

Austin, TX 78701 (Remote within Texas)

 

The ServiceNow Business Analyst (BA) will review, analyze, and evaluate user needs for Client's implementation of ServiceNow. The BA will work directly with users to define requirements for projects and enhancements to the system. This position will assist users and developers in all phases of the sprint and project work including testing, documenting requirements and test scripts, quality control, and communications.

 

The worker's responsibilities and skills must include:

·      • Previous experience with and knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities

·      • Gathering business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

·      • Defining product themes, epics, user stories and product features.

·      • Facilitating prioritization sessions for the product backlog.

·      • Facilitating sprint planning sessions to establish a sprint backlog.

·      • Documenting requirements and system design using approved agency formats.

·      • Being a creative thinker to solve application issues.

·      • Mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements.

·      • Assisting in the translation of business requirements into detailed technical specifications

·      • Facilitating and documenting AS-IS and TO-BE process flows

·      • Writing test cases and scripts to validate code is working as documented.

·      • Writing release notes and training documentation

·      • Other duties as assigned

ServiceNow Developer

Austin, TX (Remote within Texas)

 

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for development, core configuration, administration, maintenance, support, and technical expertise of Client's ServiceNow implementation. You should have a solution- focused mindset and the ability to provide excellent customer service, training, and support.

• Research and design technical solutions and implementations of strategic technologies and other modules.
• Develop scripts, workflows, and flows on the ServiceNow platform to automate tasks and integrations.
• Provide software configuration and customization including, but not limited to workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.
• Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (REST, orchestration, and other relevant methodologies).
• Assist and improve Service Mapping, CMDB, and Discovery processes including third-party integrations.
• Drive initiatives to identify, optimize and automate manual IT business processes to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable IT services.
• Build out scoped applications, customizations, and configurations based on customer requirements.
• Driving continual service improvement through establishment of best practices, reusable assets, and refinement of the implementation processes.
• Monitor health, usage, and overall security compliance of the application.
• Provide system administration and support for maintenance and break/fix.
• Perform system and integration testing. Implement changes across SDLC lifecycle.
• Document technical solutions and provide training in knowledge gaps.
• Work collaboratively with Client's ServiceNow team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

5         JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, Glide, HTML, XML and/or JSON.

4         Experience gathering requirements and designing to requirements.
4         Experience in developing and managing integrations with ServiceNow.
4         Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
