Title: Senior Technical Product Manager - GTM Platform

Duration: 1 year

Location: Remote work (US based) possible. International interaction and collaboration needed (US, EU, India)

 

Required: Expertise in go-to-market processes at a large retailer
Preferred: Microservices background

 

Description:

Go-to-Market Platform will ensure seamless activation of our GTM business operations focused on product, assortment and brand via microservices. Activating our data in such a reusable structure will allow us to accelerate our overarching business initiatives in this area, such as digital transformation across our assortment and product planning tracks.

GTM Platform requires a dedicated Senior Technical Product Manager to develop, maintain, and evolve this initiative. This role will also be accountable to contribute to the construction and implementation of the comprehensive roadmap of the GTM ecosystem in full.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the GTM Platform strategic vision, define roadmaps and work closely with key stakeholders to build and drive adoption and performance of the platform.
• Identify opportunities, analyze business benefits, evaluate ROI and prioritize and negotiate initiatives to develop a roadmap that delivers on the overall GTM vision and strategy.
• Create buy-in for the GTM Platform vision both internally and with key external partners.
• Socialize the GTM platform roadmap and lifecycle regularly with senior leadership.
• Act as a platform evangelist to build awareness and demonstrate business impact.
• Act as a change agent to transform the affected business processes.
• Translate the platform strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on forecasted business and customer impact.
• Gain a deep understanding of the end-user experience for internal stakeholders through conducting employee research.
• Drive a high level of focus: Understand technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas with partners with clear communication and prioritization.
• Partner closely with Engineering to deliver with speed to market and optimal resources.
• Coordinate and prioritize effectively across multiple Brand value delivery tracks simultaneously.

Complexity and Accountability:
• Position is accountable to IT for key deliverables in support of the assigned product
• Position is accountable to business partners for representation of their objectives/outcomes (OKRs)

Key Partners & Interaction:
• Internal: Collaborating and Coordinating with Co-Workers and functional Leadership
• External: Collaborating and Coordinating with Software Vendors and External Stakeholders (users)

Scope:
• Global Responsibility and significant scope across the organization as a whole. Our Go-to-Market processes touch a significant percentage of our business activities.
