Job Title: BigData Developer with Spark, Java & GCP  

Location: Remote/ Charlotte, NC

Position type: Long term Contract

Rate: DOE   

 

Job Description:  

"8+ Years of total IT experience with 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience implementing BigData, Hadoop.

Aleast 5+ yrs strong Spark experience using Java programming.

Google Cloud Professional with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) IaaS and PaaS Components, Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, Storage, Server

Minimum 2+ years project experience on GCP using Google tools Cloud Storage, Cloud run, Dataproc, Dataflow, Bigquery, Cloud Composer.

Experience on developing products using MapR, HBase, Kafka, Microservices, etc.

Participate in solution building for moving existing workloads and/or traditional infrastructure to the Cloud

Experience with CI/CD, Agile tools, DevOps, Splunk, REST API, Source control and versioning tools: Preferred

Strong communication and presentation skills

Excellent collaborative and influencing skills.

Must be able to work with teams of Data Engineers and Analysts and resolve dependencies.

Knowledge of Financial domain is preferred

Experience working with Agile Methodology"
