1)Position: QA with Guidewire

Location: San Antonio, TX

Job Description

 

Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.

Understand product / application features / requirements and define Test Strategy, Test Plan, and business scenarios.

Develop ClaimCenter configuration/Integration Test scenarios & test cases.

Identify test data needs and prepare test data for the required tests.

Create and run functional, application, regression, ad-hoc, and integration tests, including both positive and negative scenarios for Claim center and related integration points.

Execute tests cases and report results.

Log defects and track defects through closure

Need to meet timelines on testing and with quality.

Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution

Guidewire BillingCenter Lead Dev: A BC Lead Developer is expected to carry out the following: Prepare Design documents. Software Configuration management. Create, tag and Merge branch. Build and deliver application to various environments. Write Pseudo code Customizing the Guidewire BC Product Data Model Development Business Logic (Rules) Development PCF Screen ( User Interface) Development LOB Mapping Localization for different Locales Development using Gosu for Classes and Enhancement Prepare UTC and perform unit testing.

Remote/Onsite:	Onshore, in office required. Conshohocken, PA

Mandatory Skills:	Guidewire ClaimCenter, P&C Insurance
Detailed JD	3+ years of proven experience in business analysis including defining Insurance business, functional and reporting requirements and conducting user acceptance testing for business-critical solutions in complex environments. Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter systems is required. Detailed claims processing knowledge and experience. Experience with Guidewire Policy Center is preferred. Proven hands-on experience in writing and executing MS SQL query is required. Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience and knowledge with an understanding of the terminology, business functions (Claims) and business processes. Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies, working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards. Agile Methodology experience a plus, but not required.
