Job Title: Magento Developer
Location: Bentonville, AR
Duration: 6+ months contract
Description: Looking for a skilled Magento developer to build and maintain eCommerce websites and extensions. As a Magento developer, you will handle liaising with the design team, building modules and customizing extensions, testing the performance of the site, and supporting security and feature updates after the installation is complete. To ensure success as a Magento developer, you should have excellent object-orientated programming knowledge, hold certifications for Java and Magento development, and be able to project manage.
Responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with design and product teams to gather work requirements.
2. Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x eCommerce websites.
3. Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
4. Troubleshooting integration issues.
5. Understanding and maintaining existing infrastructure.
Magento Developer Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
2. Advanced knowledge of Magento, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
3. Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
4. Strong attention to detail.
Additional Job Details
Needed/Required: Fullstack – both frontend and backend experience; but predominantly frontend
Needed/Required: React Native experience who can also learn/work on PHP.
