Richmond, VA – Need locals
The candidate will also possess skills in requirements gathering, application design, software development, documentation, and customer service.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Application integration as a core function of systems development to include experience and knowledge of designing, developing, and supporting applications using the following technologies:
1. Oracle database (11 g and above) 2. PL-SQL 3. Unix Shell Scripting
• Documenting work to be performed. (i.e. — requirements gathering, design/analysis, technical specifications, code, implementation, and support).
• Developing and executing database queries to generate reports and aid in data analysis.
• Learning different technologies, both currently in use and new.
• Working directly with programming staff and users to analyze and develop innovative applications for improving business operations within various City of Richmond departments.
This may also involve learning different technologies - both currently in use and new.
