Required Qualifications
• 8+ years Extensive experience supporting and managing multiple Oracle Databases on Linux in a complex environment.
• 5+ years of Experience serving as an Oracle DBA at comparably size organizations to Cardinal/State of Virginia
• Extensive experience authoring and supporting Linux shell scripts.
• Considerable experience with Oracle Security Architecture and Recovery including the use of Oracle Recovery Manager
(RMAN) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).Considerable experience troubleshooting complex Database Management System
(DBMS) problems.
• Experience using Oracle DataGuard for Disaster Recovery or other purposes preferred.
• Experience working with multi-tenant container databases with one to many pluggable databases
• Considerable experience creating performance tuning enhancements.
• Experience designing, modeling, and implementing large database systems.
Experience authoring PL/SQL and Structured Query Language (SQL) commands and scripts.
